In today’s society with increased violence reaching into schools and targeting communities, there is a tremendous need to mitigate the ripple effect post-trauma stress that impacts job performance, increases risk to personal performance on and off the job, and has a residual impact on all generations.
My mission is to equip, train, and mentor. I use content the meets CEU credits for specialized professionals and provides quality mental resilience skills.
Everyone needs hope and often we as “normal human beings” make the fatal mistake of imposing unrealistic expectations on our selves and others to remain operational or get the job done when we desperately need personal development in skills to maintain the one mind we have. Top performance is key at work and in families. The benefit of investing in this training provides what is practical and priceless. Think about it, how can you know what you do not know?
Honestly, no one can and that complicates the work we do and the relationships we try to maintain or inadvertently undermine by merely trying to survive job stress. That is why I meet people in places of pain and penetrate hearts with hope and help needed. I am a field chaplain.
I equip teams to mitigate the impact of traumatic events and the residual effect possible to individuals and the agencies they serve. As a crisis responder, deployment to catastrophic incidents including school crisis, natural disaster, and community tragedies are part of my life’s call, skills and giftings to serve others.
Let me help you be a difference maker.
What are the benefits? Applied Conflict Resolution and Critical Incident Stress Management skills lower absenteeism, improved relationships and the ability to do the job required safely and without compromise to self and others. Post-traumatic stress does not have to escalate or spiral into a disorder. Post-traumatic growth is the key!

A little about me:
There was a time when the impact of PTSD landed me in one of the worst pits. Not so today! I am an advocate of PTSG Post Traumatic Stress Growth is possible! True confession – I am a bain nerd. Seriously, neuropsychology is not only something I study, my life today is the direct result of its impact on training the brain. After all, we are fearfully and wonderfully made!
I boldly appreciate growth and the importance of developing and maintaining mental wellness. I grew up a law enforcement kid. My background and current involvement as an educator along with concurrent service as a first responder crisis and grief chaplain allow me to assist various agencies, school districts, and communities. I have learned the value and importance of preparation and activation of emergency plans. I seek to help administrators and counselors glean from years of frontline field experience to better prepared.
While I hold various degrees and certifications, continuing education in the field and continued research keep me growing and able to serve as a guest media expert on occasion. The bottom line is that outer dynamics of conflict always have internal roots. I help to identify harmful roots that can destroy, families, careers, and communities. I bring awareness and skills to better understand the cost of neglect and the benefit of intentional growth. Clients become empowered to realize that many choices are productive or destructive. We all have a choice. I help people realize and break cycles of hurt people that hurt people by providing evidence and a vision that applied skills to become a person free to help others embrace freedom, sets us free indeed.
There is no shame in invisible wounds. The tragedy is being bound by the fear and pain of such wounds and no way of knowing how to break free.
Let’s get to work!
