Welcome! I am here to equip communities and specifically first responders for unique needs a life of crisis respond requires. Everyone needs hope and often we as “normal human beings” make the fatal mistake of imposing unrealistic expectations on our selves and others to remain operational or get the job done. Honestly, no one can “know what we do not know.” That can complicate the work we do and relationships in life. That is why I am passionate about meeting people in places of pain and penetrating hearts with hope and help needed “now!”
My services include training to equip teams in order to mitigate the impact of traumatic events and the residual affect it can have on individuals and the agencies they employ. As a crisis responder deployment in times of crisis, disaster, and community tragedies in just part of the call on my life.
Sudden losses result in post-traumatic stress. Mitigating with practical skills not all people have is a privilege. Empowering of others to recognize and what is common and how to navigate the common impact of traumatic events leads stronger teams and productive results!
When people gain beneficial skills to maintain their own mental wellness, they lower absenteeism, improve relationships and remain able to the job required safely and without compromise to self and others. Post-traumatic stress does not have to escalate to disorder. Post-traumatic growth is the key!
“You are designed for accomplishment, engineered to succeed, and endowed with the seeds of greatness.“
Together we can face a brighter future, and stronger you!
A little about me:
There as a time when the stench of some of my thoughts and framework of thinking landed me in one of the worst pits ever. Not so today!
I am on a mission to equip others to appreciate mental wellness. I grew up as a law enforcement kid. Today I serve with and as a first response chaplain assisting various agencies and communities impacted by tragedies. As a crisis responder myself, I have learned the value and importance of, preparation and the activation of emergency plans with long-range aftercare protocol in place.
Whether it is traumatic stress, re-entry for communities, schools, or at work following tragic events, navigating the “aftermath” means providing ongoing training for the benefit of those impacted.
What I teach I do with high-quality content and as a success story and ambassador of hope.
While I hold various degrees and certifications, continuing education keeps me growing and able to serve as a guest media expert in conflict resolution. The bottom line is that outer dynamics of conflict always has internal roots. I equip you to identify harmful roots that can destroy, families, careers, and communities if left neglected. I teach people to realize the pain can either be productive or destructive. We all have a choice. I help people break the cycle of hurt people hurting people provide skills to help them be one that becomes free to help others live in freedom.
There is no shame in having invisible wounds. The tragedy is being bound in fear and pain.
